I haven’t been tending to this blog as often as I would have liked, but I have my excuses. Instead of getting all wordy, I will break it down into a quick photo essay. I am preparing to move overseas to Luxembourg. All of my paperwork is sent off and Visa approval is pending. Notice has been given to the landlord. My partner is already in Europe. Some things to do before I leave:
*Donate clothes to Out of the Closet (the gay Goodwill in San Francisco). I was shocked at how much crap was hanging in my closet that I no longer wear. That’s all bagged up and ready to ship out.
*Donate books to Friends of the San Francisco Public Library. This task is half accomplished. Living room books are sorted, spare bedroom books are next. Please note that this is only an intermediate step in getting rid of old books; I am not another misguided home decorator who thinks stacked books are a good interior design choice (hint: they aren’t).
*Get Mr. Kitty into the vet for an update on shots and a certificate of travel. Vet appointment has been made. Simon doesn’t know yet.
*Get started on French and complete TEFL certification. I have enrolled in a 3 week TEFL course in San Francisco, and have both a French book and Rosetta Stone.
Tomorrow, though? I will probably be finishing this:
