I started this blog as a way to vent about political issues and share book reviews and recipes, sort of like 90% of blogs already in existence. But since then, I have had the amazing opportunity to move and live in Luxembourg.
I will still blog about a variety of topics that interest me, but now I am also chronicling the life of an American expat in Europe. I’ll try to inject some humor into my travels and attempts to learn French, and attach photos of my journeys.
Feel free to contact me if you have questions or comments, whether you’re a traveller looking to visit, or an expat yourself. I reply to all messages!
Advanced warning: I’m a former smoker and an atheist, and sometimes get a little preachy on those issues. I also obsess over things like Doctor Who and the girls from the Facts of Life, but then criticize sports fans for being weird. So my apologies in advance.
Just wanted to stop by to say thanks so much for following our blog and liking our most recent post about bungy jumping in Japan. Much appreciated! π
Haha love this About Me description of yourself =P
Happy blogging! π
I just browsed your posts to get an idea of who you are (small region, I’m sure we’ll run into each other sooner or later). But some of your posts give me the idea that you would get along really well with my friends Christina and Tom. Here is Christina’s blog if you are interested in getting in touch! http://livingtheamericandreamineurope.wordpress.com/

Thanks for the reply! I will check it out!
Hey again, sorry I kind of messed up there and forgot the whole “friend with anonymous blog” thing. If it wouldn’t trouble you too much, could you edit my comment and remove their names.
whoopsies. Sorry for the trouble!
Thanks for the follow! I look forward to checking out more of your blog!
Thanks for the follow! Are you still in Lux? How are you liking it?
Still here and loving it. I don’t care for the long, cold, dark winters, but the rest is amazing!
I liked Lux too and we will live only about 20 minutes away. Good thing too since until I’m fluent in German, it’s my best option for movies (utopolis). π
We just saw Oz there, though I would not recommend that awful movie. We tried seeing it in Trier; guess how that turned out? π My goal is French fluency. Easier language than German in theory, but German speakers tend to be more helpful to those learning their language. So best of luck!
